Betty Blair Obituary

BETTY K. BLAIR, age 93, of Greenfield, formally of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. at Hearth and Care of Greenfield.

She was born on October 1, 1923 in Fayette County to Reuben and Helen Scott Pierce. She had worked at Albers Supermarket and then also spent twenty-two years as an employee of the National Cash Register Company (NCR) in Washington CH, she was an eighteen year employee of the Greenfield Area Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Glenn D. Pierce.

Survivors include her niece and two nephews; Jana L. Jackson, Bill D. Pierce, and Richard L. Pierce.

The graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiteoak Grove Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public viewing. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
