Eva Jean Aleshire

EVA JEAN ALESHIRE, age 85, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 5:40 p.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on October 19, 1931 in Fayette County to Eugene and Blanche Edwards Reaster. She was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School. Eva enjoyed her job of being a wife and mother to her three sons. She enjoyed playing solitaire, following the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Reds, and most importantly, being with her family and grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Richard Aleshire, whom she married on June 10, 1949; and her sons, Michael Eugene Aleshire, and Paul Dale Aleshire.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Cathy) Aleshire; grandchildren, Crystal (Jimmy) Wysong, Amanda (Buckie) Caulley, Chelsea (Mike) Mason, Aimee (Robert) Marshall, and Jennifer (Robert) Carmack; great-grandchildren, Whitney Downing, Addylyn, Talan, and Hazel Mason, Brianna Brown, Brayden Carmack, Brodie, Alexander, and Brylie Caulley; great-great grandson, Jensen Downing; daughter-in-law, Karen Aleshire; and special friend, Charlotte Aleshire. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplin Jeff Davis officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-8:00 p.m.
