Franklin D. Henry

FRANKLIN D. HENRY, age 83, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:15 a.m. at Carriage Court of Washington CH.

He was born on December 3, 1933 in Ross County to Seele E. and Mary E. Meech Henry. He was a 1951 graduate of Washington High School. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army during Peace Time. He had worked at Washington Aluminum Casting Company, and worked as a corrections officer for the State of Ohio. He enjoyed photography, wood working, mowing his lawn, listening to southern gospel music, and being with his family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and nine siblings.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Henry of Grove City, and Jane (Donald) McCrabb of Huber Heights; grandsons, Joshua (Keri) McCrabb, and Matthew McCrabb; two nieces, Toni (Don) Dobbs of Xenia, and Kathy (George) Bleimes of Worthington; and special friend, Sonja Seiler. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Ray Vance officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
