Julia Ann "Judy" Bock

JULIA ANN “JUDY” BOCK, age 81, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. at her home.

She was born on February 16, 1936 in Philadelphia to Robert and Dorothy Fox. She had worked as a school bus driver for Miami Trace Schools and Fayette Progressive Industry, but being a “Mom” was always her first priority. She was a long-time member of the Heritage Memorial Church. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family and grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, son, Donald “Donnie” Roy Bock, and brother, Bobby Fox.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Bock, whom she married on October 31, 1956; son, Randy (Millie) Bock, grandsons, Ty and Trey Bock, and Shawn Bock, siblings, Donald (Brenda) Fox, Mary Hurley, Latisha (Bill) Newton, and Susanne (Dan) Bostic. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m., and again Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
