Mary Lou Jacobs

MARY LOU JACOBS, age 75, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 6:33 a.m. at Court House Manor where she had been a resident since February 17, 2017.

She was born on June 26, 1941 in Highland County to Ray and Marie Hamilton Wright. Mary spent many years volunteering her time at Court House Manor but most of all she loved being a wife and a mother. She enjoyed working on the farm with her father, horseback riding, writing letters to her friends and family, and collecting recipes and roosters.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Martin Jacobs, whom she married on January 23, 1965; brother-in-law, Donald R. Boysel Sr., and niece, Leah Coldiron.

Survivors include her son, James Eric (Janette) Jacobs; siblings, Robert Ray (Linda) Wright, and Brenda L. Boysel; nephews, Greg (Darlene) Wright, and Donald R. Boysel Jr., and niece, Jaime (David) McClure. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rob Dawson officiating with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd., Circleville, OH 43113.
