QUENTIN TYRELL KNAPP, age 33, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 30, 1983 in Fayette County to Brady Carl and Katherine Sue Frederick Knapp. Quentin was currently employed as a general contractor and worked in the concrete business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing at Paint Creek, camping, and being with his family and friends.

Quentin was preceded in death by his father, Brady Carl Knapp; brother, Thomas Simmons; and grandparents, Harold and Norma Null.

Survivors include his mother, Katherine Sue Knapp; his significant other, Kathy L. DePugh; siblings, Tonda Simmons, Brady (Tonya) Knapp, and Dalton Knapp; nieces and nephews, Kari, Cole, and Courtney Campbell, Haley, Hunter, and Holden Simmons, and Hayden and Kylan Knapp. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

The viewing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Summers Funeral Home from 4-8:00 p.m. In keeping with his family’s wishes, cremation will follow.
