Stephen Charles Jackson

STEPHEN CHARLES JACKSON, age 34, of Washington CH, tragically departed this world on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 4:52 a.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on September 29, 1983 in Franklin County to John and Joy Jackson. He was a 2002 graduate of Washington High School and had attended West Liberty University, and Ohio Dominican University where he majored in Accounting. Stephen proudly served his country in the US Army for a short time. Stephen was loved and adored by his family at Heritage Memorial Church where he had attended since his childhood. He had a true passion for track and football and was also an avid Ohio State fan.

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Charlene Jackson, and John David and Alice Jackson; his loving mother, Joy Jackson; and his “other” Momma, Sue Young.

Survivors include his father, John Jackson; his daughter, Mattylen Taylor Jackson; girlfriend, Hillary Strahler; siblings, Scott (Lynnette) Jackson of Arizona, Jason (Melissa Chapman) Jackson of Kentucky, Matthew (Kim) Jackson of Washington CH, and Allison Kelble of Florida; and special aunt, LaDonna Jackson. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church, 1867 Old US 35, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Rev. Joe Duvall and Rev. Aaron Duvall officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
