BETTE ELLEN KELLER MARSHALL, age 99, of Washington CH, formerly of Washington, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 6:46 a.m. at her home.
She was born on January 19, 1920 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio to Benjamin and Gladys Evangeline Thompson Keller. She was a 1938 Washington High School graduate. She proudly served her country in the US Navy during WWII. She was a member of the DAR, the Red Hat Society, contributor to the Shriners, the VFW Post in Indiana, Eastern Star, and was a Kentucky Colonel. She had traveled the world and stopped driving herself when she was 94.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands, Norman LaFollette and Morley Wayne Marshall and brother Richard Keller.
Survivors include her nephews, Gary (Judy) Keller, and Paul Keller; great-nephew, B.R. (Lisa) Keller, she is also survived by numerous great, great-great, great-great-great, and great-great-great-great nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
