Bobby Haynes Obituary

BOBBY GENE HAYNES, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born on December 19, 1939 in Maryville, Tennessee to Rev. John Leland and Leona Greene Haynes. He was a 1958 graduate of Everett High School in Tennessee. Bobby owned and operated Haynes Grain Equipment for many years. He enjoyed playing the steel guitar, listening to music, reading, and being with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Wanda Faye Seibert, and brother, Kenneth Ray Haynes.

Survivors include his loving companion of thirty-five years, Rosemary Dilley; his children, Randy (Patricia) Haynes, and Sharon (James) Niceley; grandchildren, Sarah Donahue, and Cassie Edwards; great-grandchildren, Colin Donahue, Stephen and Ryleigh Russell, Karleigh Joseph, and Baby Boy Wiseman coming soon; and his brother, Wilson Haynes. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Fellowship Church, 4405 Prairie Rd NW, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor Keith Clary officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In keeping with Bobby’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
