Bruce Lee Althouse

BRUCE LEE ALTHOUSE, age 69, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1:07 p.m. at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born on December 29, 1948 in Fayette County to the late Charles W. and Marie Foster Althouse. He was a 1969 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Bruce proudly served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany from 1970 to 1972. He was reinstated in 1978 and again served his country in the US Army Reserves where he completed time in Operation Desert Storm. Bruce worked as a communication specialist and a motor equipment repairman during his time in the service. After his time in the military, he returned to work at Mac Tools, the Yusa Corporation, and Airborne in Wilmington until it closed. Bruce had an eccentric personality and enjoyed experimenting with electronic and magnetic gadgets. He also enjoyed the teachings of Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla.

The graveside service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
