Cheryl Darlene Remy

CHERYL DARLENE REMY, age 67, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:18 p.m. at her home.

She was born on December 31, 1949 in Fayette County to William Edward and Barbara Spurlock Seymour. She was a 1967 graduate of London High School. Cheryl had worked at Calmar until she retired in 2011. She was a member of the Jeffersonville Church of Christ where she led the singing for over twenty years. She enjoyed singing, fishing, playing cards, and being with her family and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, George Remy, whom she married on September 28, 1983; her son, Chad Remy; and brothers, Roger and Steve Chamberlin.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany (Jay) Lindsey; granddaughters, Lexi (Justin) Hall, Amber Powers and her fiancé Richard McMaster, Cierra Remy, and Heidi Mae Remy; sister, Cindy Litteral; niece, Jolene Messer; and special friends, Vicki Howe, Donova Stickley, and Beverly Hurles.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Community Church with Pastor Paul Crichton officiating with burial to follow at the Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
