Donette Elaine Everhart

DONETTE ELAINE EVERHART, age 57, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully from this life on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 9:04 a.m. at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 22, 1962 in Fayette County to Donald Junior and Doris Ellen Shiltz Everhart. She had attended Washington Senior High. Donette had been employed at the American Legion Post 25 in Washington CH where she worked as a highly skilled bartender. She will always be remembered for her warm smile and her big heart. She enjoyed being outdoors, taking rides on the motorcycle, and being with her family and friends.

Donette was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Donald Everhart, and Daniel Everhart.

Survivors include her daughters, Danielle (Joshua) Dawson, Christina (Tom) Strahler, and Jewel (Robbie) Penwell; grandchildren, Vennessa Dawson, Logan Dawson, Thomas Strahler, Katelynn Strahler, Baylee Edenfield, Sammy Jo Woody, and Chance Delainey Applegate; one great-grandchild arriving in July of 2020; her “ole man”, best-friend, and soulmate, Don Hayner; brother, Daren Scott Everhart; sister-in-law, Melissa Everhart; and special friend, Jeannie Brown. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 5-10:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 25, 1240 US Highway 22 NW, Washington CH, OH 43160. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help cover final expenses.
