Jacqueline Marie "Punk" Myers

JACQUELINE MARIE “PUNK” MYERS, age 68, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10:45 p.m. at her home.

She was born on June 29, 1949 in Ross County to Floyd and Eva Marie Detty Pettit. She was a 1967 graduate of Southeastern High School. Jackie retired from Court House Manor in 2014. She was a member of the Center Christian Church in Jeffersonville. She enjoyed camping, cooking, reading, and being with her family and grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Geraldine Rice, and Ann (Delbert) Clary.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Myers, whom she married on October 27, 1971; children, Barbara (Dennis) Gray, Delaine Stevens and her fiancé, Kris Stephenson, Tim Myers, Regina (Robert Jr.) Bain, Donna Hartley, and Shawn Myers and his fiancé, Debbie Cook; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandy (Jim) Meyer, Susie (Gary) Liff, and Randy (Brenda) Pettit; brother-in-law, Elmer Rice; special niece and caregiver, Jamie Meyer; and her loving canine companion, Odie. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lee officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-8:00 p.m.
