KENNETH LOWELL “BOSS HOG” PETITT, age 76, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born on April 30, 1941 in Fayette County to Arthur and Pauline Highley Petitt. He was a 1959 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Kenny was self-employed and worked in construction. He had attended the Heritage Memorial Church. Kenny was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed working, vacationing in Florida with his wife, sitting on the beach, and being with his family and friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Petitt; and his grandson, Blake Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Pammy Sue Thacker Petitt, he and Pammy have been together for the past twenty-seven years; children, Kendra Petitt Temple, Amanda Petitt Williams, Kenny (Tina) Thacker, Joni (Ben) Smith, and Jomi Thacker; grandchildren, Larken Gillian Temple, McKenzie Thacker, James Minney III, Keely Smith, Jaidyn Minney, and Lyric Jordan; and siblings, Joyce (Paul) Fessler, David (LuAnn) Petitt, Cyndi Morris, and Roger Petitt. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
