Nancy Ruth Tranner

NANCY RUTH TRANNER, age 75, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 4:56 a.m. at Signature HealthCare of Fayette County.

She was born on November 30, 1943 in Franklin County to Lee and Bernice Grooms Tranner. Nancy had worked in the workshop at Fayette Progressive Industries. She had also been a long-time member at the Heritage Memorial Church and attended the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She enjoyed embroidering, painting, coloring, going out to eat, and going to church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Margaret Tranner; and sister, Francis Corney.

Survivors include her brother, Jimmy Tranner; and special friend, Wilma Jean McBride.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Clary officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
