ROBERT W. “BOBBY” BLAIR, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 3:40 p.m. at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born on January 11, 1948 in Franklin County to Kenneth and Beatrice Taylor Blair. He was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. Bobby proudly served his country in the US Air Force for twenty years; six years active duty and fourteen years with the Ohio Air National Guard. After ending his active duty service, he worked for Yeoman TV. He had also worked as an instructor at Laurel Oaks JVS; and then retired from ABX Air in Wilmington. Bobby grew-up at the South Side Church of Christ and had most recently become a member at the Union United Methodist Church, where his son is the Pastor. He enjoyed genealogy and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Becky Dauber Blair.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Seymour Blair, whom he married on February 14, 1971; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Michelle Blair; grandchildren, Zoe and Amanda Blair; brother, Kevin (Kelly) Blair; niece, Katie Blair; and nephew, Chris Blair. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Union United Methodist Church, 222 Shaw Rd., Englewood, OH 45322.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Side Church of Christ, 921 S. Fayette St., Washington CH, OH 43160, with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
