THELMA MAE “PUNKY” EASTON, age 52, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:46 p.m. at her home.

She was born on August 9, 1965 in Fayette County to John Jr. and Greta Mae Minney Forsha. She had worked as a cook at the former Courtview Restaurant in Washington CH. Thelma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed being outside, cooking, collecting dolphins, and being with her family and grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kevin Forsha; and brother-in-law, Dale Blue.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Ray Easton, whom she married on June 18, 2005; her children, Timmy Leach, Stephanie (Clayton) Carroll, and Angel Leach; grandchildren, Haley, Morgan, Chloe, and Luke Carroll, Whitley Anderson, and Myla Leach; siblings, Debra (Keith) Noel, Johnny Forsha, Terri Blue, Rhonda (Pat) Merritt, and Charlene Forsha. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place after the service.
