AMBER LEA HIXON, age 30, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at her home.

She was born on September 14, 1986 in Fayette County to Jerry A. and Tracey A. Hixon. She was a 2005 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Amber worked for many years at Court House Manor and Fayette County Memorial Hospital as an STNA. She had attended the Octa House of Prayer Church. She enjoyed playing softball and volleyball, coloring contests with her daughter, her 1964 Chevy Impala, and most importantly, being a mother to her children.

Amber was preceded in death by her son, Brantley Allen Hixon, and her brother, Kevin Michael O'Berry Jr.

Survivors include her parents; daughter, Trinity Jasmine Hixon; brother, Austin Hixon; and her grandparents, Denver and Lynda Hixon, and Garnet Ison.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Siler officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-8:00 p.m.
