ARBRA JANE YAHN, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born on October 16, 1944 in Fayette County to the late Hubert and Sarah (Wilson) Sword. Arbra retired from Frisch's Big Boy in Washington CH where she had worked as a cook for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed gambling, going to Tennessee with her late husband, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Arbra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles F. Yahn; her daughter, Connie F. (Keith) Haynes; granddaughter, Joie Miranda Yahn; great-grandson, Charles Drendyn Yahn; and siblings, Ronnie Sword, Richard Sword, and Joyce Everhart.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Michael "Mike" (Kathy) Yahn; grandchildren, Jordy Yahn, Brian (Mackenzie) Haynes, and Brittany Ackley; great-grandchildren, Ta'Kyia Yahn, Kayden Penwell, Ryker Haynes, Aiden Haynes, Clayton Haynes, Keionnie Ackley, and Ryan Ackley; siblings, Steve (Joni) Sword, and Vickey (Danny) Leeth; and special friend, Mike Taylor. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
