Obituary

ARTHUR "JUNIOR" ROHRER, age 78, of New Holland, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 3:35 a.m. at his home.

He was born on February 2, 1935 in New Holland to Arthur Sr. and Hazel Manbeavers Rohrer. He had worked at Thatcher's Tubing for more than 20 years as a warehouse supervisor. He had attended the New Holland Church of Christ in Christian Union. He had a passion for gardening, flowers and tending to his immaculate lawn.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Carl "Bud" and Earl Rohrer.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary Dunston Rohrer whom he married on November 15, 1959; his sons Dwayne (Rhonda) Rohrer of Bloomingburg and Brent (Lori) Rohrer of Circleville; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; siblings Shirley Mae Simms, Clarabelle Allen, Jerald (Linda) Rohrer and Donald (Ruth) Rohrer; sister-in-law Norma Jean Rohrer as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends including special friends Delano Knisley and Mike Dawson.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Banks officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
