BARBARA JEAN "BARB" HALEY, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 7:05 a.m. at her sister's home.

She was born on January 19, 1955 in Fayette County to Gerald and Leona Sexton Burkett. She had attended Washington High School. Barb had worked at the former Ev's Market for several years and was most recently employed at The Well at Sunnyside. Barb was a faithful member at the First Church of God on Harrison St. Her grandson, Grant was the light and love of her life. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and was an avid Ohio State, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, T. Ruth Sexton, Emmitt Burdette, and Leona Boldman Burkitt; aunt, Betty Coffey; and brother-in-law, Bob Goodson.

Survivors include her son, Brent Haley; grandson, Grant Haley; siblings, Richard (Cheryl) McNutt of Tennessee, Robert McNutt, Gary (Brenda) Burkett, and Beverly Goodson, all of Washington CH; nieces and nephews, Beth McNutt of Germantown, Tracy McNutt, Heather (Brian) Cavanaugh, both of Indianapolis, Chad (Beth) McNutt of Franklin, and Ryan (Tara) Goodson of Washington CH; aunt, Brenda (Paul) Browning of Toledo; and uncle, Delmar (Marcie) Burkitt of Wilmington. Also surviving are several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A private viewing and funeral service will be held at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Tim White and Fulton Terry officiating with burial to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
