BERNARD "BERNIE" A. LUTZ, age 53, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 5:38 p.m. at the Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on December 27, 1960 in Quebec, Canada. He had worked in construction for many years and was a 1980 Washington Senior High School graduate. He enjoyed working with electronics and loved hard rock music. Bernie was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Yoe McDonald Lutz. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Doris Thompson Lutz; his wife Tammy Tushkowski Wycoff Lutz, whom he married on September 30, 2011; his children Amanda Lutz and Brian Lutz; step-children DeLonna, Tamra, Jeremiah and Zack Wycoff; seven grandchildren; siblings Robert T. Lutz, Linda (Michael) Reser and Mary E. Howland as well as two nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
