Bert Yarger Jr., age 77, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 2:28 a.m. at the Mt. Carmel Medical Center.

He was born on September 1, 1936 in Fayette County to Bert and Amy Anders Yarger. He had worked at Albers Supermarket, Steens Department Store and also retired from Armco Steel in 1992 after 26 years of service.He was a 1954 Washington High School graduate and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #423. He was a man who loved eating out, being with his family and friends and watching wrestling.

Bert was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Pearly Yarger, Dorothy Reno and Irene Miller.

He is survived by his daughter Pamela, and her husband Dan Houser; grandchildren Zach, Kayla and Nathan all of Chillicothe; sister Martha Bush; niece Mary Bock and special friends, Jean Warner and Valerie Gates and family.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating. Friends may call at the Summers Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
