BETTY JO COCKERILL, age 83, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Carriage Court of Washington CH. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Ross County to the late George and Frances Jordan. On December 19, 1960, she married Ralph E. Cockerill who preceded her in death on April 17, 2017.

Betty was a member of the South Side Church of Christ where she was involved in numerous activities within the church. She was active in the local community and always enjoyed helping people that were less fortunate than herself. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandy Dragon, and Jackie Forster; her grandchildren, Cameron J. Forster and Amanda M. Forster; her brother; Harvey Jordan; her sister, Joann Cowens.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Betty was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation will take place and burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
