BETTY JEAN MCMORROW, age 80, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 12:20 p.m. at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 6, 1938 in Fayette County to Fred and Carrie Cullers Mongold. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking, and reading.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Pam McMorrow; and siblings, Dorothy, Lucine, Leroy, Alonzo, and Wilma.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Philip McMorrow; children, Teresea (Lonnie) Copas, Douglas (Kevin) McMorrow, and Julie McMorrow; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brett) Bapst, Megan (Izick) Clevenger, Nicholas (Joyce) Southward, Wendy (Robyn) Southward, Zack (Jackie) See, Philip (Brandie) See, and Katie See; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Mae Reed, Ruby Reed, Mary Boggs; sister-in-law, Rebecca (John) Row; thirty-four nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Mike Hodge officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
