BILLIE DONALD DEWEES, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 5:14 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on May 29, 1925 in Washington CH to William L. and Roberta Wilson Dewees. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where he had served as Elder. He enjoyed playing golf, euchre and cooking and had been a great caregiver to his wife. Billie was preceded in death by his parents, sister JoAnn Powell and brother David Dewees. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Omatch Dewees, who recently celebrated 70 years of marriage this past December; siblings Paul (Rebecca) Dewees, Lois Milliken and sister-in-law, Barbara Dewees. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Cemetery with David Fox officiating. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1702 US Rt. 22 NW, Washington CH.
