BONNIE RUTH WHALEY, age 72, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 17, 1943 in Franklin County to James and Dorothy Smith Wolfe. She had been employed by UDF and Court View Restaurant for many years. She had attended the First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Kelly Whaley. Survivors include her children Paul (Crystal) Whaley, Paula Merritt, and Jamie Whaley; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Vickie Wolfe as well as 6 nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
