BRENDA KAY NOEL, age 70, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Adena Fayette Medical Center after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born on November 10, 1953 in Fayette County to the late Floyd R. and Elizabeth C. (Madden) Noel. Brenda had worked as a nursing assistant in several different nursing homes in the local area; her last job was at the YUSA Corporation. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, painting ceramics, doing jigsaw puzzles, and reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her siblings, Evelyn Noel, David Wayne Noel, and Kathy Nunley; and the father of her son, Dwight D. Vaughn.

Survivors include her children, Jasine (Mark) Wilson, and Dwight Vaughn; grandchildren, Brianna Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson, Brittney Wilson, Sam Vaughn, Faith Vaughn, Rachel Huffman and Maliki Wagner; brother, Mike Noel, sister-in-law, Wanda Noel; and the father of her daughter, Chuck Tincher. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff Davis officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
