BRET ALLEN WILSON, age 55, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 4:04 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 28, 1960 in Fayette County to Canova "J.R." and JoAnn Colborn Wilson. He had worked as a semi-truck driver for Bowen Transportation for 30 years. He was a handyman, enjoyed working but especially spending time with his family. Bret was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Brenda Wilson. Survivors include his son, Spencer Keith Wilson; grandson Jordan Daniel Wilson; Bret's fiancé Rita Goldie; siblings Pat Wilkins, Terry Wilson and fiancé Dawn Mann, Kenny (Cinda) Wilson, Larry Wilson, Linda Wilson and fiancé Dave Cundiff, David Wilson, Becky Wilson and James Wilson as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Osborne officiating with burial to follow at the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
