BRODERICK JAMISON LEE HARRIS, age 11, passed away tragically on Friday, December 26, 2014 as the result of a house fire. He was born on May 21, 2003 in Washington CH to Ricky and Traci Shiltz Harris. He was a 6th grade student at Washington Middle School and was very involved in sports including wresting, baseball and football. He ranked second in the state wrestling championship and also was on a traveling wrestling team where his team placed 4th and 7th in the Nationals. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with both grandmothers. Broderick was preceded in death by his brothers Tanner (at infancy) and Kenyon and Braylon as well as his grandmother, Terry Harris who also perished in the fire and his grandfather, Larry Shiltz. Survivors include his parents; his grandmother Ronda Shiltz, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church with Esto Haithcock and Phil Collie officiating with burial to follow at the New Holland Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
