Obituary

CAMERON KEITH BORDEN, age 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at his home after a long health battle. He was with his beloved wife, son, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.

Cameron was born in Highland County on May 28,1963 to the late David Eugene and Shirley Arleen (Blackmore) Borden. He was a graduate of the Hillsboro Warriors class of 1981. Cameron earned his AA in Communications from Southern State Community College and two BAs from Wilmington College in Art Education and Communications. He met his wife, a fellow student, at Wilmington College. The inseparable pair wed on December 21,1996. Cameron was a Radio Shack Manager in both Wilmington and Washington CH and was the former pastor at the Hickory Lane Church of Christ. He was a proud former board member of the LIFE Pregnancy Center, and the designer of their logo, a service that he was overjoyed to have provided.

In addition to his parents, Cameron was preceded in death by his uncle, Roger; aunt, Barbara Blackmore; uncle, Bill; aunt, Jeanne Wolfe; and father-in-law, Terry Morris.

Cameron is survived by his soulmate, Teresa Kay; his beloved children, Cammi Kay Borden of Grand Junction, Colorado, Brendan Michael (Sarah) Borden of Northridge, California, and Aaron Joseph Borden of Sabina, Ohio; brother, Kyle Borden, of Hillsboro, Ohio; nephew, Samuel Borden, of Missouri; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Paul Groninger; mother-in-law, Brenda Morris; sister-in-law, Rebecca Walter; brother-in-law, Jon Morris; nephews, Nate (Amy Hurst) Groninger, Brendan and William Walter; and nieces, Meghan (Nathan Jewell) Groninger, and Terra Walter. He is also survived by his little buddies, great-nephews, Sawyer, Myles, and Atticus whom he loved dearly, as well as his dear cousins, Tonya (Ed) Blackmore-Lewber, and Terri (Greg) Wolfe Fenner.

Cameron loved spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends. He loved to spoil his furry friends, go to yard sales and flea markets, watch the Reds and the Buckeyes, play games, collect sports cards and coins, drawing and creating with his wife, and most of all, share Jesus with people. Cameron is a light that will be missed beyond measure.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
