CAROLE JEAN GIBBS, age 57, of Washington Court House, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Signature Health Care of Fayette County. She was born on June 1, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Herbert L. Gibbs and the late Francie Mae Smathers Gibbs.

Carole was a 1985 graduate of Washington Senior High School and lived most of her life here in Fayette County.

Survivors include her siblings, David (Sharon) Gibbs, Herbert Jr. (Kimberly) Gibbs, Wesley (Marilyn) Gibbs, Andrea Lynn Gibbs, Michael (Samantha) Gibbs, Kevin (Jennifer) Gibbs and Thomas (Angela) Gibbs and her Aunr Arlene Fyffe. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Roberta Scarberry.

In keeping with Carole's wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held. Burial will take place in the Washington Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024.
