CAROLYN JOAN BROWN, age 77, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on September 21, 1946 in Pickaway County, Ohio to the late William H. and Hattie L. (Taylor) Shadley. Carolyn was a homemaker and stay-at-home Mom. She enjoyed being outside and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry D. Brown, whom she married on September 22, 1965; siblings, Louise, Margaret, Mary, Barbara, Helen, Charles, Edward, and infant brother, William Jr.; and her feline pet, Angel.

Survivors include her sons, Kevin Brown, and John (Linda) Brown; grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley) Brown, Zaine Brown, Caleb Brown, Courtney (Robert) Holt, and Joshua (Maddie) Brown; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Zoey, Cylie, Cadence, Weston, Rylynn, and Mali; and her faithful canine companion, Abby.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at the New Holland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
