CARROLL LEE REYNOLDS, age 84, of Washington CH, formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:51 a.m. at his home.
He was born on March 12, 1931 in Sullivan, Illinois to Luther and Bernice Malone Reynolds. He retired from Hobart Engineering as a tool designer. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Carroll was a member of the Church of Christ in Elkhart, where he had served twice as Elder, teacher, and song leader and later became a member of the Church of Christ in Washington CH. He enjoyed collecting eagles, clocks, loved to tinker, gardening, cooking and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald E. Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Julian Reynolds, whom he married on June 10, 1951; his children Judy (Bill) Myers of Washington CH and Pam Morton of Cibolo, Texas; grandchildren Adam and Eric Kipker, Christina, William L. (Morgan), Joseph (Ploy) and Zachary Myers, Mitchell and Kevin Morton; eight great-grandchildren and a great-grandson due in the spring; brother, Melvin (Zelma) Reynolds of Illinois and sister, Maxine (Donnie) Henwood of Arizona as well as his beloved feline, Lily.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 1550 Rt. 38 NE, with Bill Myers officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will follow. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Elkhart, Indiana at the convenience of the family.
