CECIL RAYMOND LONGBERRY, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 8:10 a.m. at his home.

He was born on January 11, 1948 in Concord Township in Ross County, Ohio to Robert C. and Opal (Grimm) Longberry. Cecil worked in construction for most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers, "tinkering," and spending time with his family.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Connie Bellar, and Steve Longberry; and his best friend, Sammy Wasson.

Survivors include his sons, Cecil "Raymond" Longberry, Jr., and Brion Lee (Kourtney) Longberry; grandchildren, Danielle Longberry, Angel (Aaron) Dejen, Raymond Longberry, Cheyanne Engleman, Jazmin Cook, Alexia Longberry, and Jachyla Longberry; great-grandchildren, Donald, Daniel, Chloe, Kyle, Connor, Arianna, and Damien; siblings, Cathy Coy, Linda Bennett, David (Sally) Massie, and Albert Longberry; and his faithful canine companion, Dexter. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Summers Funeral Home from 4-6:00 p.m. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow, and burial will take place at the Bloomingburg Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
