CHAD MICHAEL PAULEY, age 39, of Martinsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

He was born on August 26, 1984 in Fayette County to Michael B. Pauley and Angela L. (Yankie) Knapp. He was a graduate of Wilmington High School. Chad had worked as a factory foreman and was later self-employed doing several different jobs. He enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his two sons.

Chad was preceded in death by his sister, Aletta Knapp and grandparents, Howard Michael Pauley, James D. Yankie, and Lillian Rickman.

Survivors include his father, Michael (Angela) Pauley; mother, Angela Knapp; and step-mother, Judy Pauley; his sons, Ryder Pauley, and Jaxon Pauley; siblings, Zach Pauley, Ashley Young, Brook Knapp, Cody Knapp, Taylor Mead-Funk, Miranda Cory, and Colton Cory; step-siblings, Cassie Rhoads, and Shane Rhoads; and grandmother, Janet Pauley. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Summers Funeral Home from 1-3:00 p.m.
