CHARLENE MARIE HODGE, age 58, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1:22 p.m. at the Adena Fayette Medical Center.

Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on May 10, 1963 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late Richard Y. and Donna L. (Shultzaberger) Massropian-Summers. Charlene loved to travel, shop and do home projects. She was a stay-at-home grandmother raising five grandchildren she had custody of. Her daughter Heather described her as a "free spirit." She most enjoyed being with her beloved family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Tython Hodge, whom she married on March 29, 2002; children, Kristen Keener and her fiancé, Jason Harris, Daryl (Kara) Procacina, Heather Branshaw, and Eric Shaffer; grandchildren, R. Mykal Massropian, Larry Jackson, Malik Jackson, Alaina Jackson, Trevaughn Jackson, Na'veaha Jones, Kayden Procacina, Alexis Procacina, Micah Procacina, Deyonna Branshaw, Ke'Vonna Mansfield, Malakye Mansfield, Meriaya Shaffer-Santiago, Jaxson Shaffer, Nevaeh Campbell, Haven Campbell, Cole Campbell and Eloc Campbell; great-grandson, Zyaire Jackson; siblings, Raymond Massropian, and John Massropian; and her nephew, John "Johnny" Massropian, Jr. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of special friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Summers Funeral Home from 3-5:00 p.m.
