CHARLES CURNUTTE, age 86, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.

He was born on June 29, 1939 in Clay, Ohio to the late Thomas and Louisa (Stone) Curnutte. Charles retired from Mac Tools in Washington CH. He was a faithful member of the Unity Fellowship Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, drawing, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Jo Curnutte, and siblings, Bill Curnutte, Wally Curnutte, Oscar Curnutte, and Edith Jarrell.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean (Watson) Curnutte; his daughters, Janet Curnutte, and Lori (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren, Charles Anthony (Allison) Curnutte, and Kaitlynn Young and her fiancé, Matt O’Malley; stepchildren, Tammy Caudill, Patricia Parker, and Walter (Juanita) Caudill; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jim Curnutte, and Bob (Cici) Curnutte. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Dawson officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
