CHARLES RUSSELL FRALEY, age 89, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his daughter's home.

He was born on November 28, 1933 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Farris and Anna (Boggs) Fraley. Charles proudly served his country in the US Army. He lived most of his life in the Jeffersonville area and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed racing cars, playing basketball in his younger years, working on his semi, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Louise (Lykins) Fraley, whom he married on May 31, 1963 in Springfield, Ohio; and also, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children, Korrie (Derick Bobbitt) Fenner, Scott (Debrah) Fraley, and Mike (Cindy) Fraley; grandchildren, Tyler, Dustin, Jordan, Cole, and Carleigh Fraley, Jared, Brandon, and Taylor Fenner, Sausha Hopkins, and Shaylah Mann; great-grandchildren, Knox, Ridge, Karter, Baker, Harlan, Aubrey, and Harrison; and brothers, Gene Fraley, and Paul Fraley. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff Davis officiating with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3-5:00 p.m.
