CHERYL ANN SUMMERS, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 8:32 a.m. at the Unverferth House of OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born on July 25, 1954 in Greenfield to the late Bud and Joan Millirons Everhart. She was a 1972 Greenfield McClain High School graduate and a 2007 graduate of Southern State Community College where she earned an Associates Degree in Medical Assistance. She had been employed by Mac Tools, Calmar and Bundy Corporation. She was a member of the Spirit of Truth Church. She enjoyed sewing, all types of crafts, quilting, bird watching, cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Steven "Steve" Summers, whom she married on June 30, 1979; her children Shawnda Burson, Richard "Dicki" Clifford, Michael Summers and Timothy Summers; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; siblings Dave (Lorraine) Everhart, Danny Everhart and Kathy (Rick) Cross as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Don Young officiating with burial to follow at a later date at the convenience of the family.
