CHRISTOPHER ALAN "CHRIS" BOREN, age 30, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on January 27, 1990 in Fayette County to Trent Alan Boren and Kathy Jo (Parrish) Wurzbach. Chris was a 2008 graduate of Washington High School. He enjoyed being with his children and was an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan.

Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Brenda Sue (Pettit) Parrish and George Edward Parrish, Sr.; and great-grandparents, Emerson and Geneva Pettit, Eugene and Dovey Parrish, Hilda Boren, and Jesse Ater.

Survivors include his fiancé, Brittany Statts; children, Logan, Levi, and Kayleigh; his mother, Kathy (Doug) Wurzbach; his father, Trent (Michelle) Boren; grandparents, Thomas and Rita Wurzbach of Hillsboro, Mel and Linda McGuire, and Cindy Lemaster of Washington CH; siblings, Danielle (Dustin) Brown of Washington CH, Brandon Raypole of Lynchburg, Kensey Rubin of Columbus, Kaylee (Cheyenne) Rankin of Jeffersonville, Arielle Gayheart of Washington CH, and Colten Kellenberger of Washington CH; aunts and uncles, Eddie and Angie Parrish, Joe and Melinda Bell, Danny (Stacey) Parrish, Chris (Larin) Parrish, Tonie Penwell, Michelle Boren, Christine Huddleston, Doug Boren, and Chris Wurzbach; nieces and nephews, Raelynn, Berkleigh, Bently, Koby, Klara, Zoey, Ezekiel, Octavia, Malee, Scarlett, Willow, and Jace; special friends and brothers, Dustin Gilpen, Jaren Byrd, and Manny Gonzalez; and his second set of parents, Richard and Samantha Gilpen. Also surviving are several cousins and other extended family members.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will take place after the service and internment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Those in attendance are asked to wear a mask or other facial covering and adhere to social-distancing guidelines.
