CLARA BELLE ALLEN, age 96, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 3:29 a.m. at the St. Catherine's Manor. She was born on February 17, 1920 in New Holland to Arthur Sr. and Hazel Manbeavers Rohrer. She had formerly worked at the Anderson Restaurant for many years. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale, daughter, Phyllis Campbell, and siblings, Carl Rohrer, Earl "Art" Rohrer, and Donald Rohrer. Survivors include her children, Patricia (Bill) Tackett and Carolyn Follrod; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Simms, Jerald Rohrer as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Holland Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd., Circleville, OH 43113. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
