Obituary

CLIFTON F. "CLIFF" WOODSON, age 79, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 1:17 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

He was born on September 30, 1942 in Wauchula, Florida to Clayton and Annie (Ford) Woodson. Cliff retired from the City of Washington where he worked at the Washington Cemetery for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed fishing, walking, taking rides through the cemetery and spending time with his beloved family.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, JC Woodson, and Ann Harmon.

Survivors include his wife, Constance K. (Hockett) "Connie" Woodson, whom he married on December 24, 1974 in North Fort Myers, Florida; his daughters, Annie M. Woodson and Sheila M. (Darrin) Tubaugh; grandchildren, Natasha N. (Dakota Smith) Woodson, Daniel J. (Nakita) Woodson, Taylor M. Carner, Daren M. Brightman, Alex L. Hebb, and Sydney N. Woodson; 15 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Zach and Chris Thomas, Kyla, Mason, and Halley Thomas, and Pablo Portugal. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The viewing will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation is to follow.
