CONNIE ANN FARMER, age 86, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Copper Knoll Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on April 17, 1938 in Madison County to the late Raymond and Zona (Clevinger) Brill. Connie had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Quiet Acers on Palmer Road; she and her late husband, Karl also owned and operated Farmer's One Stop in Washington CH, where they were well known for their delicious pizza. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, visiting her cabin in Port Clinton, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Karl Nathan Farmer, whom she married on July 26, 1953; her daughter, Phyllis English; grandsons, Brock Farmer, and Brandon Farmer; and siblings, Jack Brill, Ronald "Butch" Brill, Marvin "Grubby" Brill, Clarence "Gabe" Brill, Robert Brill, and Harry Brill.
Survivors include her children, Debbie (Isaac) Rittenhouse, Steve Farmer, Karla Ackley, and Joyce Jenkins; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy Osborne) Thurman, Zachary Rittenhouse, Laci (Jason Kimball) Farmer, John Ackley, Kym Simon, Tiffani Simon, Melissa Dewitt, Randa (Steven) Redding, and April Leach; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Braylon, Landon, Lydia, Alexia, Alec, Norah, Blaze, Lorelei, Tabatha, and Hunner; great-great-grandchildren, Roman, Triton, and Emmaline; and siblings, Raymond "Lug" Brill, Gracie Duncan, and Linda Bonham. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating with a one hour viewing prior to the graveside service at the Summers Funeral Home from 11:30-12:30 p.m.
