CONNIE JEAN HALL, age 69, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Her death was sudden and unexpected. She was born on April 22, 1947 in Jeffersonville to Lowell and Eunice Smith. She was a 1965 graduate of Miami Trace High School. She had worked as a nursing assistant at Carlton Manor and retired from Court House Manor after 14 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching old TV shows, going on vacation with her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kristi Hanna. Survivors include her husband, Karl Hall, whom she married on October 8, 1965. He was the love of her life for 51 years. She is also survived by her children, Karla (Brian) Moorman and Scott (Mindy) Hall; grandchildren, Chelsea (Trent), Jennifer (Camron), Morgan, Derek, Kayla, Hana and Emma; great-grandchildren, Kashton, Emry, and Jensyn and siblings, Garnet Walton and Dennis Smith. Also surviving are many relatives and friends, special nieces, Phyllis Johnson, Linda Forsha, Cathy Forsha, and Alicia Smith. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
