CONNIE J. MADDUX, age 56, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. at her home. She was born on May 17, 1960 in Washington CH to the late Cecil and Janet Cartwright Pennington. She had been employed with the Frontier Home Health Corporation. Connie thoroughly enjoyed the LA Rams, spending time in the sun but loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. Connie is survived by her husband, Doug Maddux, whom she married on June 21, 2013; her daughter, Jamie, and her husband JR Jewell; step-children, Drew Maddux, Courtney Maddux, and Kyle Maddux; grandchildren, R.E. and Callan Jewell, Frank and June Maddux, Jalen Johnson, Kylee Maddux; siblings Dianna Baker from Highland, Garry Pennington, Randy Pennington, and Rebecca (Brian) Rose all of Washington CH; nephew, Anthony (Erin) Rose of Xenia, niece, Megan Rose of Washington CH as well as a host of friends. Also surviving are her furry buddies, Baja, Izzy, Zoe and Chloe. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery.
