CONNIE KAYE THOMPSON, age 70, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2023 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 5, 1953 in Blanchester, Ohio to the late Ronald A. and Loelma G. (Thuney) Swigert Brown. She was a 1971 graduate of Miami Trace High School and was also a graduate of the Columbus Business University. Connie had worked at the Herron Financial Group where she was employed as secretary. She had been a member at the Grace United Methodist Church. She adored spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Swigert.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Jeffrey Lewis Thompson, whom she married on May 26, 1973; her sons, Andrew (Erin) Thompson and Scott (Kristen) Thompson; grandchildren, Justin Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Paisley Thompson, Jake Combs, Vivian Combs, Clark Thompson, Kael Thompson, and Sofia Thompson; siblings, Donna (Mark) Little and Philip (Wendi) Swigert; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg (Catherine) Thompson, Jud (Krista) Thompson, Julie (Alfred) Howe, Sandy Swigert, Susan Swigert, and Becky Thompson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Ohio's Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
