DAVID FRANKLIN GREER, age 59, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 23, 1962, the son of George Lynn Greer and Frances "Sue" Wiseman Greer Frump.

David was preceded in death by his father, George Greer; step-father, Allen Frump; and nephew, Ross Greer.

Survivors include his wife, Ashton Greer; his step-children, Kylar and Walker; his mother, Sue Frump; brothers, Kevin (Kristy) Greer, Greg (Sue) Greer, and Paul (Dana) Greer; step-brother, Tim (Keilly) Frump; nephews, Ryan, Lee, and Aaron Greer; step-nephews, Matthew and Brent Frump; nieces, Randi Dewees, Cori Shaw, and Delaney Greer; step-niece, Tyler Frump; cousins, Sandi Burnett, Bevie Hemby, and Alexa Amick. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

After graduating from Fairfield High School in Leesburg, Ohio and the Ohio Police Academy, he enlisted in the US Air Force. After leaving the military, he became a heavy equipment operator.

David was an extremely hard worker who loved to keep busy and enjoyed the outdoors. He was friendly and outgoing and leaves behind many friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160.
