DAVID SHANE HAGLER, age 57, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at his home.

He was born on October 28, 1968 in Washington CH to the late Roy David “Beaver” and Betsy Elaine (Duncan) Hagler. He was a graduate of Miami Trace High School. He enjoyed fishing, watching old movies, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid Ohio State fan.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Cheryl R. (Smith) Hagler, whom he married on September 20, 2003; children, David Slade Hagler, Cole West Hagler (Clarissa Albelli), and Miranda Mishell (Josh) Sanderson; grandchildren, Stiles Hagler, Caiah Hagler, Ristyn Campbell, Leland Sanderson, Kaysen Sanderson, and Kaiden Sanderson; and sister, Bethany Hagler-Grim. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
