DAVID R. HALL, age 69, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 12:25 a.m. at his home. He was born on October 16, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Otto and Jeanette Josie Skinner Hall. He was a 1963 graduate of St. Augustine High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He had worked at the Pepsi-Cola Company in Springfield for over 38 years. He enjoyed gardening, camping, reading, motorcycles, golfing and especially spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife, Megan Long Hall, whom he married on September 9, 1995; his children Stephanie Lange of Springfield, Chris (Kerry) Hall of Los Angeles, California, Hannah Johnson of Columbus and Dillan Johnson of Jeffersonville; grandchildren Joshua and Gregory Lange and Asher Lantz; siblings J. Paul Hall and Larry (Barbara) Hall; step-siblings Frankie Ellefsen, Jay Heber and Dodie Tallman as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends including his canine companion, Jace. He will be missed by many. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-5 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
